This is NOT Education as Usual

To have a professional learning environment means to be learning in an environment that is close to the real world. This environment will help us to prepare for the real world. This environment is one that is safe, as well as one that will help all of us to learn.

To be a producer of information means that you are researching information, and then putting all of your findings together to share to others. To be a consumer means that you look for information to take in, almost like an encyclopedia, in a sense. This is what I think a professional learning community is, and the difference between a producer and a consumer of information.
