This is NOT Education as Usual

The qualities of a good teacher include the following. First, the teacher must being willing to help the student, and be more than happy to answer any questions. Next, teachers should have a positive attitude toward the learning and the success of their students. Teachers should be up-beat, and be enthusiastic in class. Finally, teachers should never put students down, nor mock them.

Some qualities that students should possess are willingness to learn, not be afraid to ask for help, participate in class, try their hardest, and always try to have a positive attitude. Students need to always try the assignment or task, and give it "the old college try". If it doesn't make sense, it is the job of the student to come in for help. These are qualities that make a successful student.

In this class, I expect to be a good student by having all of the qualities listed above. I hope to learn how to be better at writing essays, and work on my vocabulary. I also hope to get to know you better as a teacher.

As a student, I expect you to fulfill all of the tasks that I listed that make a good teacher. I expect to become better at blogging, with your help. I also expect you, as my teacher, to help me develop skills that I will be using in the real world. These are all of the qualities and expectations that I have for English class this year.
